EVE Beacon is an unofficial, fan-made companion tool for the game EVE Online. It lets you sign in with your EVE Online character(s) and view their location, ships, skills, wallet, assets, contracts, and market orders on a live map. EVE Beacon is not developed, operated, or endorsed by Fenris (formerly CCP), the maker of EVE Online.
To use EVE Beacon you must have a valid EVE Online account and authenticate through EVE SSO, Fenris's own single sign-on system. Your use of EVE Online itself, including any data accessed through EVE's ESI API, remains governed by Fenris's own End User License Agreement and Terms of Service — these Terms only cover your use of EVE Beacon itself.
Signing in with EVE Online links that character to your browser session so EVE Beacon can display its data. You can unlink a character at any time from its detail card on the map — doing so permanently deletes everything EVE Beacon has stored for that character. EVE Beacon is provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime. Character locations, wallet balances, skills, assets, and other data are synced periodically from EVE's ESI API and can be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or stale — do not rely on EVE Beacon for time-critical, real-money, or safety-critical decisions.
EVE Online and the EVE logo are the registered trademarks of Fenris (formerly CCP). All rights are reserved worldwide. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. EVE Beacon claims no ownership over EVE Online's intellectual property and uses it only to identify the game the tool is built for.
EVE Beacon is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVE Beacon and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including in-game losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, EVE Beacon.
EVE Beacon relies on Fenris's EVE SSO and ESI services to function. Your interaction with those systems is governed by Fenris's own terms and privacy practices, which EVE Beacon does not control.
You may stop using EVE Beacon and unlink your characters at any time. We may suspend or restrict access to EVE Beacon, in whole or in part, at any time — for example to address abuse or a security issue.
These Terms may be updated from time to time as EVE Beacon's features change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
